Our Mission

Transform communities through economic, social and educational empowerment in collaboration with community and faith-based organizations.

Centro de Apoyo Familiar (CAF) was founded in 2006 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, to provide distressed homeowners with housing counseling services for foreclosure prevention. In 2009, CAF expanded to Prince George’s County in the state of Maryland and in 2017 expanded to Falls Church, Virginia, now reaching the entire Washington Metropolitan area.

We created CAF’s Connectors Network; a network of participating faith-based organizations that work in collaboration with CAF to transform communities. CAF’s Connectors Network (CCN) is made up of community organizations, ministries and churches that work in collaboration with CAF’s programmatic model.
